My interest in photography sprang from my love of dance lighting design, and from the excitement of transforming and manipulating what is seen.   I have a particular interest in exploring the unexpected and unique elements of nature, and in creating images to promote well-being, wonder, and discovery. I am intrigued by the politics of beauty, and am also interested in re-shaping the superficial into something visually new.

When fulfilling custom projects, I enjoy collaboration, and provide an environment that puts clients and models at ease,  as we strive to pictorially reveal something of their interior world.  I see beauty virtually everywhere.
